Hi, I'm Minone Frizzelle, your host for Joyful Noise on Thursday evenings from 5-8 pm starting August 26th. There's absolutely no way I can express how excited I am to be starting this program on WBYJ lp 97.9 fm where We Bring You Jesus! Joyful Noise is going to be filled with uplifting Southern Gospel music from great artists - some you will definitely know and some new ones that may just become your favorites. Each weekly program will bring you interviews and music from our Spotlight artist/group as well as Southern Gospel's top 10 count down. Sprinkled in among the music there will be stories, devotions and prayer, but I'm not going to tell you everything, you just have to listen! Please be assured that this program has been designed to bring honor and Glory to our Lord Jesus Christ and to supply encouragement for you in your walk with Him. We Will have fun together praising our Lord!

A little about me. I'm born and raised in Alamance County and one thing most people know about me is that I love to talk! As a child my teachers always said "she is a good student but she talks too much". Since I liked to talk I thought why not go into Broadcasting, which I did and graduated from ECU. After a short stint in radio I left to pursue other things. What is amusing to me is that only God can take something others call a weakness and use it for His Glory. Fast forward to last summer when I became familiar with WBYJ through the Southern Gospel trio I sing with called The Directors Trio (a link to our website is located on this page). I became fast friends with the wonderful Gloria and now I'm getting this amazing opportunity to be involved with radio again and serve the Lord at the same time. All things are possible with God and He puts the people in our path and opens the doors. I'm humbled and grateful for where He has led me.

My current life verse is - And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. Hebrews 11:16 Are you earnestly seeking Him?
